デスクランプのアンティーク塗装
良いデスクランプは高価でなかなか手がだせません。 ¥50,000 ~ ¥120,000程してしまいます。 Midgard(ドイツ)、Lumina(フランス)、Jielde(フランス)あたりのランプです。 よく使うものですし一生使うものなので思い切って買いたいところですが、なかなか手が出せません。 そこですでにあるデスクランプや、形の良いものを選んで、それを塗るという方法で部屋に合わせてみました。 アンティーク風にしたい場合は参考にしてみてください。
Antique-Finished Desk Lamp
Desk lamps can be a significant investment, often costing anywhere from ¥50,000 to ¥120,000. Lumina, and Jielde are known for their quality but come with a hefty price tag. While I'd love to have one to last a lifetime, it's not quite feasible for me right now. As a more affordable alternative, I decided to give my current lamp a makeover. By painting it, I was able to customize it to fit my room and create an antique look.

塗り方
1. 必要なら, 木工用ボンド, 砂, サビ色塗料を用意
2. やすりで全体をこすって傷をつける
3. プライマーを全体に塗る
4. 砂と木工用ボンドを混ぜたものを適当に塗る
5. サビ色を全体に塗る
6. 乾いた後、黒を塗る
How to Paint
1. If needed, wood glue, sand, and rust-colored paint.
2. Sand the entire surface to create scratches.
3. Apply a primer to the entire surface.
4. Apply a mixture of sand and wood glue randomly.
5. Apply rust-colored paint to the entire surface.
6. After drying, apply black paint.

つや消しの黒塗料とプライマーを用意します。 プライマーは塗装できない素材に塗って、塗装ができるようにする下地材です。 万能プライマーのミッチャクロンでOKです。 プライマーの塗り方は、塗る前にやすりでザラザラにしてほこりを取ってから塗ります。 もしアンティーク風にしたい場合は、ボンドと砂を混ぜたものを、プライマーが乾いた後に適当にくっつけて、乾いた後に、サビ色で全体を塗装するか、サビを再現する塗料で塗装します。
A primer is a base coat applied to surfaces that can't be painted directly, preparing them for paint. A multipurpose primer will work fine. Before applying the primer, I'll sand the surface to create a rough texture and remove any dust. If I want an antique look, I'll mix bond and sand, apply it to the dried primer in random patterns, and then paint the entire piece with a rust color or a special paint designed to simulate rust.

サビ色が乾いたら、黒で塗っていきます。 つや消しで塗膜タイプあれば、どの黒でも良いです。 このときサビ色を少しだしたままにして塗っていくと良い感じになります。 今回は、IKEAのANTIFONIというワークランプを塗りました。 塗装はちょっとだけサビの上から塗った感じにしてみました。 この方法での塗装も満足しました。 本物のアンティークのデスクランプにはかないませんが、数千円で満足するものにすることにできました。
Once the rusty color was dry, I painted it black. Any matte finish paint would work, but I left a bit of the rusty color showing through for a more authentic look. I used this technique on an IKEA ANTIFONI work lamp. I’m quite happy with the results of this slightly distressed paint job. While it can’t quite compare to a genuine antique desk lamp, I managed to create something satisfying for just a few thousand yen.
