Mei - affection
Parade Artistに所属する東京を拠点に活躍するシンガーソングライターMeiさんの新作アルバム「affection」のアルバムジャケットデザインを手がけました。 この特別なプロジェクトでは、Meiさんの心に響く楽曲を視覚的に引き立てるようにデザインをしました。 Meiさんが全楽曲の作詞と作曲を手掛けるクリエイティブな才能を持っていることはもちろん、ライブパフォーマンスを通じて伝えるパワフルで繊細な歌声も聞くことができます。 このアルバムジャケットデザインにおいても、その魅力を最大限に活かすために工夫しました。Mei - affection
I designed the album jacket for Tokyo-based singer-songwriter Mei's new album "affection", a member of Parade Artist. This special project was designed to visually enhance Mei's heartfelt songs, which not only showcase her creative talent in writing lyrics and music for all of her songs, but also the powerful and sensitive voice she conveys through her live performances. The album cover design is also a testament to his talent. In designing this album jacket, I tried to make the most of this appeal....
「affection」のコンセプトは、愛情と光と影の影の部分を表現すること。 このコンセプトを基に、デザインは暗さと美しさが共存し、光と影の2面性を表現しました。 アルバムジャケットは、Meiさんの音楽が奏でる感情と対話し、聴衆に深い感銘を与えることを意図しています。
The concept behind "affection" is to express affection and the shadowy side of light and shadow. Based on this concept, the design is both dark and beautiful, expressing the duality of light and shadow. The album jacket is intended to interact with the emotions that Mei's music plays and deeply impresses the audience.

また、写真の映えるデザインを追求するため、デザインの中で写真が最大限に際立つよう工夫しました。 「affection」アルバムジャケットデザインに関わることで、Meiさんの音楽に新たな次元を加えるお手伝いができたことを嬉しく思います。
In pursuit of a design that would showcase the photographs, I devised a way to maximize the prominence of the photographs in the design. I am pleased to have helped add a new dimension to Mei's music by being involved in the design.
